Since its establishment in 2013, H&K Co. Ltd has been searching for the best products that Japan has to offer. In 2019, we developed our original brand “Hatsukokoro”. The word Hatsukokoro comes from the Japanese proverb “don’t forget your original intention”.
As a result of the contracts stipulated between the brand and the blacksmiths, sometimes the identity of some of the blacksmiths remains a mystery, which makes things a little more exciting.

The Hayabusa line is made in Seki, Japan. Seki-city is a world-renowned knife manufacturing powerhouse that hosts the Seki City Cutlery Festival and attracts knife enthusiasts from all over the world. These knives are finely ground with a slight convexity, which helps them glide easily through food. The use of HAP40 for a cutting steel makes these knives highly sought after for their easy maintenance and long life.
